Job description

As an IT Sales Project Manager, you will join the IT Direct to Consumer team and play a key role in the global retail transformation journey, impacting over 300 stores worldwide.

You will work on the evolution of the global POS ecosystem based on Oracle Retail Xstore, contributing to the development of scalable, omnichannel retail solutions and enhancing the in-store customer experience across markets.

You will act as a bridge between business needs and technical implementation, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners in a dynamic and international environment.

  • The role will be based in Stabio (Switzerland) or alternatively in Milano / Lomazzo

HOW YOU BRING IT TO LIFE

  • Collect, analyze and prioritize business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and scalable technical solutions
  • Act as a key interface between business, IT teams and external vendors, ensuring alignment and effective delivery
  • Oversee the implementation and evolution of the global POS core model (Oracle Xstore), including country localizations and compliance with VAT and taxation requirements
  • Coordinate and supervise integrations with internal enterprise systems and third-party platforms
  • Support global POS roll-outs and system enhancements across the store network
  • Guide external partners and system integrators through implementation phases, ensuring quality and timelines
  • Deliver user training and provide ongoing support on new tools, features and functionalities

You will operate across multiple streams, from transformation projects to ongoing system evolutions and enhancements, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the retail ecosystem.

Requirements

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Retail Xstore Suite (Xstore, Xstore Mobile, Xoffice Cloud)
  • Good understanding of system integrations within complex IT ecosystems
  • Knowledge of Oracle DB and SQL is a plus
  • Knowledge of OROB / ORCE, Java, XML is a plus
  • Experience in supervising software development and system customization projects
  • Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and automation / AI technologies is considered a plus
  • Experience in troubleshooting, user support and training delivery

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience on Oracle Retail Xstore Suite / POS solutions
  • Experience in global roll-outs, system implementations and customization projects
  • Background in complex, structured and fast paced environments

Education

  • Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar
