Job description

We are seeking an ambitious Junior/Mid-Level Developer (with at least 2 years of experience) to help design, test, develop, and support our internal and client-facing web applications.

This role offers the perfect balance of autonomy and support. You will take ownership of your projects and work heavily on your own initiative, but you will also be a core part of a close-knit development team reporting directly to our IT Manager, who will provide ongoing guidance and mentorship.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Designing and building scalable, secure websites and web applications.
  • Developing and maintaining high-performance REST APIs.
  • Working in a unique "hybrid-cloud" environment, seamlessly integrating a modern Microsoft .NET stack with Google Cloud Platform services.
  • Taking features from initial design and database architecture through to front-end implementation and deployment.

Essential Skills

  • Backend: C#, .NET Core
  • Frontend: Modern Angular (v2+) / TypeScript / AngularJS
  • Architecture & Data: REST APIs, Entity Framework
  • Cloud: Experience with (or a strong desire to learn) Google Cloud APIs (Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, etc.)

Advantageous Skills

  • Database: Microsoft SQL Server
  • Frontend Extras: Blazor, Bootstrap
  • DevOps: CI/CD pipelines (Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps, Jira, GitHub)
  • Quality Assurance: Automated Testing

Requirements

  • Highly enthusiastic about technology and eager to continuously learn.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of working proactively on your own initiative while remaining a strong team player.
