Job description
You'll be responsible for transforming complex datasets and analysis into high-quality presentations, reports, and visual assets used by partners, funders, and the wider financial services sector. This is a design-led role, where visual storytelling and clarity are central-ensuring that insights are not only accurate, but engaging, intuitive, and accessible.
Working closely with analysts and stakeholders, you'll shape how data is communicated-crafting outputs that make complex information clear, impactful, and easy to understand., * Design engaging presentations, data packs, and insight reports for external audiences
- Translate complex data into clear visual narratives and storytelling
- Use Power BI to access and extract relevant datasets
- Create charts, infographics, and visual assets that simplify insights
- Collaborate with analysts, subject matter experts, and external relations teams
- Structure content so it flows logically and is visually compelling
- Maintain consistent branding, templates, and visual standards
- Tailor outputs for different audiences, including partners, funders, and industry stakeholders
Requirements
This is a great opportunity for someone who combines strong design skills with data literacy, and enjoys bringing insights to life through storytelling., * At least 12 months experience creating data visualisations, insight reports, or analytical presentations
- Experience with Power BI for data visualisation
- Strong visual design skills (layout, typography, colour, hierarchy)
- Ability to simplify complex information into clear, accessible visuals
- Experience producing presentation decks and published reports
- Confident communicator with strong storytelling ability
- Basic knowledge of SQL or data querying
- Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Technical skills:
- Advanced Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign)
- Strong PowerPoint skills
- Experience using Figma
- Highly organised with strong file and workflow management
Nice to Have:
- Experience in financial services, fintech, or research environments
- Background in information or editorial design
- Experience creating infographics or data-led publications
- Understanding of UX principles
- Experience with Premiere Pro or After Effects
- Familiarity with AI tools or workflow automation, * SQL: 1 year (preferred)
- Stakeholder engagement: 1 year (preferred)
- Data storytelling: 2 years (preferred)
- Power BI: 2 years (required)
- Digital design: 2 years (required)
- Adobe Creative Suite: 2 years (required)
