Job description

To assist in providing general building maintenance service and repair works on behalf of Cambridge Maintenance to its client base., * Upkeep and tidying of plant rooms and equipment serving modern, high standard office buildings

  • Cleaning and painting of equipment, plant and plant room floors
  • Chemical cleaning of equipment using high-pressure jet washer
  • Delivery of spares to site
  • Basic Building Maintenance tasks including meter readings and tap temperature checks
  • Assisting Building Services Technicians
  • To regularly and effectively communicate with clients, suppliers and other personnel in order to maintain and develop excellent professional working relationships and ensure smooth operation of the business
  • The job holder will be expected to organise their work and time efficiently, and to be work supportively within a team
  • Understand the workings of a PPM planner and respond appropriately the client's requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Punctual site attendance, wearing relevant PPE and clothing issued
  • Submitting clear, concise and accurate reports of works carried out, with clear recommendations for any further work required
  • Submitting weekly accurate timesheets
  • Communicating with Contracts Managers on Job progression

Requirements

Essential

  • Good Communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proven experience, making good plasterboard issues, small plumbing tasks, weekly bell testing, weekly unused outlets.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of H.V.A.C. Industry
  • Knowledge of air conditioning systems
  • Basic PC Skills - Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Trained in Heath and Safety
  • The understanding of L8 water compliance, safe isolations

Pay: £33,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
