AI Engineer

We're looking for an experienced developer who is genuinely passionate about AI - someone who is already experimenting in their own time, staying on top of new models, and likely frustrated by how little they can actually deploy in their current role. Key Responsibilities

• Designing and deploying AI agents across the business
• Building systems that connect databases, LLMs and actions
• Embedding AI into: operations &logistics, pricing & trading, customer experience, compliance & risk, and finance workflows
• Creating autonomous processes, not just reporting tools
• Continuously improving models using live, full-scale data, You won't be limited by compute
• We run the latest open-source models on our own infrastructure, giving you the freedom to experiment, iterate and deploy at meaningful scale - without the usual cost and rate-limit constraints.

You'll work on real systems, not demos

• Your work will sit at the centre of the business - powering decisions, automating workflows and replacing manual processes.

You'll have freedom to build

• You won't be boxed into tickets or endless approvals. You'll identify opportunities, build solutions, and push them into production.

• Is already experimenting with AI tools or models in your own time
• Is frustrated by rate limits, lack of compute, or slow-moving environments
• Wants to move from ideas into real deployment at scale
• Is motivated by building systems that actually change how a business runs

• Strong Python developer with solid engineering fundamentals
• Proven experience working with: LLMs or agentic systems, Databases (e.g. Postgres),APIs and data pipelines

• Genuinely AI-curious - you keep up with developments because you want to

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 depending on experience Package & Benefits
