Job description

  • Foster collaboration across departments and disciplines to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Indirectly, jointly manage and enable the IT operations team (~ 10 employees) at IT Services with IT Services Managers
  • Support development of a future orientated IT operations organization at IT Services together with IT Services Managers
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (business units & internal IT Service Partner) and external service providers (SAP & other XaaS providers/ system suppliers) to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Maintain strong relationships on operational level to stakeholders ascertain stable delivery (platform stability & application support)
  • Escalation & Incident Management
  • Act as the primary escalation point for critical operational issues
  • Drive resolution in a solution-oriented manner, ensuring minimal business disruption
  • Constantly look for continuous improvements to grow the capabilities according to the Shape+ project roadmap (growth path)
  • Governance & Performance Monitoring
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of (SAP Cloud) platforms
  • Design and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics to ensure internal and external service excellence incl. Incident and Release Management
  • Create reporting for Shape+ Management and Finance Divisions
  • Support to stay up to date regarding IT security standards, data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR)
  • Change & Risk Management (ChaRM)
  • Support operational risk assessments and ensure readiness for change initiatives.
  • Support strategic projects with operational expertise and leadership.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in IT operations or related fields.
  • Proven leadership (min. 6 years) experience in managing IT operations, (interdisciplinary) teams and driving operational excellence.
  • Leadership & Communication Skills
  • Strong personality with the ability to guide, motivate, and develop teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels.
  • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making
  • Solution-oriented mindset with a structured approach to complex challenges leveraging various hands-on/ practical troubleshooting techniques
  • Strong analytical skills for monitoring performance and efficiency (GSN, SAP Cloud)
  • Technical & Strategic Understanding
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, service management (tools), and operational processes
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational execution
  • Proficient in managing SAP S/4HANA (Cloud) platform operations and system administration (SAP for Me) is a plus
  • Education & Certifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • ITIL Certification preferred; additional leadership or project management certifications are a plus / Agile/DevOps experience is a plus
