Software Engineer - FinTech - Manchester
Up to £90,000
Hybrid working - Manchester based

We're partnered with a leading FinTech business who are now looking for a Software Engineer to join their team as they continue to build new products.
The business works on large-scale, high-impact platforms that support a large number of assets, and they are known for fostering innovation and cutting-edge technology to deliver transformative solutions for their clients. You'll be joining a collaborative environment where technical excellence, creativity and professional development are highly regarded.
This role plays a key role within the engineering function, focusing on building and enhancing scalable applications that support critical business operations. You'll be contributing to the design and delivery of high-quality technology solutions, working within a collaborative team.
What will you be doing:
- Lead the design and development of modern technology services using best practices
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and improvements
- Conduct code reviews and help mentor junior engineers
- Ensure high-quality, performant code through testing and debugging
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy

- Experience with Java-based APIs and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with SQL databases
- Experience across full-stack technologies
