Tasks

• Design and implement diagnostic systems for rail vehicles.
• Conduct software validation and commissioning on-site.
• Support sales and project management with technical documentation., * Design, specification, implementation, testing, and maintenance of diagnostic, visualization, and remote communication systems for rail vehicles
• Carrying out initial commissioning and software validation directly on the vehicle
• Participation in new developments as well as further development of existing systems
• Preparation of technical documentation for customers and authorities
• Support of sales as well as product and project management

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in object-oriented programming is essential.
• Strong communication skills in German and English are a must., * Completed studies (FH/University) in computer science, application development, or a comparable field
• Alternatively: Completed vocational training as an IT specialist EFZ in application development with corresponding professional experience
• Several years of experience in object-oriented programming
• Knowledge of Linux, GUI development, Ethernet networks, and IT security is an advantage
• Enjoyment of a dynamic, project-oriented way of working
• Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
• Willingness to travel about 20%
