Job description
- Model and optimize business processes with BPMN, CMMN, and DMN including AI-supported orchestration.
- Configure and implement Flowable workflows including AI-supported process steps (LLM, Decision Support, Document Understanding)
- Integrate external systems and AI services via REST APIs (e.g., RAG, classification, validation)
- Perform testing, monitoring, and performance optimization of existing workflows
- Create documentation, user guides, and training as well as enable business units in the low-code/no-code environment
- Collaborate with architecture and development teams and ensure governance, compliance, and responsible AI
Requirements
- Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field
- 5+ years of experience in Java software development (fullstack) and practical knowledge in low-code/no-code development (ideally Flowable) as well as solid know-how in BPMN 2.0, CMMN, and DMN
- Strong analytical skills and experience in translating business requirements into structured workflow models
- Initial practical experience in using AI in workflows desirable (e.g., via REST APIs) as well as basic understanding of prompt engineering and responsible AI
- Ideally experience with Flowable AI Studio, GenAI tools (e.g., Claude Code) or comparable technologies
- Good communication skills as well as very good German and English skills; French is a plus
- Nice-to-have: experience with other low-code/BPM platforms (e.g., Camunda, Bonita) or in the field of digital transformation & process optimization
