Java Developer

Then we are looking for you!, As a Java Developer, you play a key role in realizing ABN AMRO's strategy of being a personal bank in a digital age. You are responsible for developing, maintaining and transforming our payment system landscape. You will contribute to the development of applications and microservices running on Java 25 and Spring Boot 4, deployed in the Azure cloud environment. You work in a DevOps team responsible for analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance of software to automate and support business processes. You make sure crucial bank processes can be executed efficiently, securely and are sustainable., Financial institutions are facing disruptive market developments, among others sparkled by instant payments and technological innovations. It is our ambition to ensure that ABN AMRO continues to be able to offer high quality and relevant services to our clients by opening to partners and clients. You will be part of the Core Transactions department, which is at the heart of the innovation and growth strategy of our Personal & Business Banking business line. • 5+ years
• A future oriented mindset
• A structured approach, * 5+ years of experience in Java development (Java 17 or newer)
• Hands-on experience with modern frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot
• Experience with public cloud platforms, particularly Azure and Azure DevOps
• Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, and JMeter
• Nice to have: knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS
