Job description

Our client is a global leader in advanced communication technologies, supporting safer air travel worldwide. Due to continued growth and new project wins, they are expanding their software engineering team and are looking for a Software Engineer to support next generation product development. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and documentation of software for high performance systems. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will be involved in the full software lifecycle, from detailed design and coding through to integration, testing, and technical documentation. You will also support testing activities, participate in design reviews, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams., + Develop and maintain software in line with project requirements

  • Support integration, testing, and validation activities
  • Contribute to design and code reviews
  • Produce technical documentation and test reports
  • Collaborate with internal teams and provide support to junior colleagues

Requirements

  • Degree (2:1 or above) in a relevant technical discipline
  • Around 2-3 years' industry experience
  • Experience with C or C++
  • Understanding of embedded systems and software development (Windows or Linux)
  • Exposure to networking concepts (desirable)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, hands on approach
  • Keen interest in engineering and continuous learning
