As a fast-growing 3PL business, we rely on accurate, timely, and insightful people data to make smart decisions. We're looking for a detail-obsessed, analytically minded HR Data & Reporting Administrator to take ownership of our HR data, reporting, and systems from day one.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves spreadsheets, thrives on accuracy, and enjoys turning raw data into meaningful insight. You'll help us build a data-driven HR function as the business scales.
You and your role:
Data Management & Integrity
- Maintain and update employee records across HR systems with absolute accuracy.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with GDPR and internal standards.
- Conduct regular audits to identify gaps, errors, or inconsistencies.
Reporting & Analytics
- Produce weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc HR reports for leadership and operational teams.
- Build dashboards and visual reports using Power BI to support decision-making.
- Analyse trends in absence, turnover, recruitment, training, and workforce planning.
- Present insights clearly, highlighting risks, patterns, and opportunities.
Systems & Process Support
- Extract, manipulate, and validate data from HRIS and other people systems.
- Support the implementation or optimisation of HR systems and digital tools.
- Act as the first point of contact for HR system queries, troubleshooting issues where needed.
Excel & Power BI Expertise
- Use advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data modelling) to manage and interpret data.
- Develop automated reporting solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Create and maintain Power BI dashboards that provide real-time visibility of key HR metrics.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with HR, Finance, Operations, and Payroll to ensure data alignment.
- Provide clear, concise data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Support HR projects with data analysis and reporting.
Requirements
You'll excel in this role if you are:
- Passionate about data, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
- Highly proficient in Excel and confident working with large datasets.
- Experienced in extracting and manipulating data from HR systems (e.g., ADP, SAP success factors, Absorb LMS, Workday, iTrent, BambooHR, etc.).
- Skilled in Power BI, with the ability to build dashboards from scratch.
- Analytical, curious, and able to spot trends others might miss.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment.
- Organised, methodical, and able to prioritise effectively.
- A strong communicator who can translate data into meaningful insight.
