Job description

As a Senior Advanced Analytics Engineer, you'll work closely with technical teams to deliver cutting-edge data solutions. You'll be responsible for tackling complex technical challenges, building advanced analytics pipelines, and contributing directly to project deliverables. While this role does not involve leadership responsibilities, you will play a key part in mentoring and guiding junior team members, ensuring the highest technical standards across projects., Develop and implement advanced analytics solutions, including data pipelines, models, and visualisations, to address complex client challenges.

Build and optimise data transformation workflows using tools like Python, SQL, DBT, or similar technologies.

Collaborate with project teams to design scalable and efficient data architectures and analytics solutions.

Conduct advanced data analyses, including predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and machine learning techniques.

Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, supporting their skill development and fostering best practices.

Ensure the quality and efficiency of technical deliverables through code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices.

Stay up to date with the latest tools, techniques, and trends in data analytics and contribute to their adoption within projects.

Requirements

Deep technical expertise in advanced analytics, including experience with tools such as Python, R, SQL, and transformation tools (e.g., DBT, Keboola).

Strong experience with data modelling, data warehousing, and building scalable data pipelines.

Proficiency in BI and visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

Hands-on experience applying data science and machine learning techniques to solve real-world problems.

Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to deliver innovative, hands-on technical solutions.

Passion for mentoring and supporting team members, sharing knowledge, and driving technical excellence.

Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards across all aspects of project delivery.

Requirements / Experience Needed

6+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics, data engineering, or related fields.

Proven track record in delivering advanced analytics solutions across diverse domains.

Expertise in data transformation, modelling, and integration processes.

Experience with cloud platforms and modern data ecosystems (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, preferred
