Choose the best place for your work - Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You design, document, and develop sustainable test architectures for containerized applications (e.g., Kubernetes-based deployments) and interfaces to devices, partner software, and cloud services.
- You ensure that quality, security, stability, and regulatory requirements are met in a systematic and scalable manner.
- You enable testability through design, working closely with software and system architects.
- You coordinate continuously with security and quality functions to implement requirements holistically.

Requirements
- You hold a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- You have many years of experience in software testing and test automation.
- You routinely use AI-powered development tools in your daily work.
- You have a comprehensive understanding of test strategies, test design, and test management for containerized applications.
- You are familiar with microservice architectures and their specific requirements.
- You have experience with non-functional criteria such as security, performance, stability, and scalability - ideally also in the context of real-time systems.
- Ideally, you are familiar with regulated development environments and have experience with risk-based testing approaches focused on cybersecurity, availability, robustness, and upgradeability.

- You take responsibility for stable, secure, and compliant software in a clinical environment.
- You communicate complex technical content clearly and translate it into clear, practical documentation.
- You possess strong communication and coordination skills across team and organizational boundaries.
- You have experience in intercultural collaboration with international development teams.
- You are confident in an international environment thanks to your fluency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
