Senior TypeScript Developer (Backend / Full-Stack)

• Own the architecture of MGP UI - make foundational decisions on stack, patterns, and boundaries that will scale with the product.
• Write production TypeScript - backend services, APIs, and full-stack features when needed.
• Establish engineering practices - code review culture, testing strategies, CI/CD standards, documentation norms.
• Integrate AI into workflows - both internal tooling and product features.
• Mentor engineers, conduct design reviews, and raise the technical bar across the team.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, data, and platform teams.

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Deep TypeScript expertise - generics, conditional types, mapped types, type inference, type-safe API design.
• Backend architecture experience - scalable services, distributed systems, PostgreSQL, message queues, caching.
• AI fluency - you actively use Claude, GPT, Copilot, or similar tools in your daily work and can articulate where AI helps and where it fails.
• Strong communication - clear RFCs, constructive code reviews, ability to explain decisions to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with React / Next.js for full-stack work.
• UI/UX sensibility - you care about how interfaces feel, not just how they function. Experience with design systems, accessibility, or working closely with designers is a plus.
• Familiarity with ad tech domain (RTB, programmatic, exchange mechanics).
• Contributions to open-source TypeScript libraries or tooling.
• Interest in functional programming patterns applied to TypeScript.
