Junior Design Engineer

You will support the design of pressure vessels, heat exchangers and associated process equipment, working closely with experienced engineers who will provide full training and mentoring.

This role is ideal for someone eager to develop technical skills in a hands-on engineering environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support the design of pressure vessels and heat exchangers
• Produce fabrication drawings using AutoCAD / Autodesk
• Assist with design calculations and technical documentation
• Learn relevant design codes and industry standards
• Work closely with senior engineers, production and quality teams
• Liaise with clients and suppliers as your experience develops
• Contribute to continuous improvement and problem solving

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering or similar
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
• Experience with AutoCAD or other CAD packages (advantageous)
• Strong attention to detail and a logical approach
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Positive, motivated attitude with an interest in engineered equipment

• £26,000 - £30,000 salary
