Job description

As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible not only for designing user-centric experiences, but also for contributing to the front-end implementation of those designs. You'll work closely with the Director of Client Operations and developers to turn complex HR and payroll processes into simple, elegant, and functional solutions., * Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web applications

  • Translate designs into high-quality front-end components
  • Map user journeys, workflows, and wireframes for HR and payroll features
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver polished features
  • Create and maintain design systems and UI consistency across the platform
  • Iterate designs based on feedback, analytics, and user behaviour
  • Ensure accessibility and responsiveness across all user interfaces

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with strong front-end development skills
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS
  • Experience working with component-based UI libraries
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both design and implemented UI work
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
  • Experience designing complex systems (e.g. dashboards, workflows, data-heavy interfaces)
  • Solid understanding of usability principles and accessibility standards
  • Ability to translate technical and regulatory requirements into user-friendly designs
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience in HR, payroll, or finance-related platforms
  • Knowledge of UK & Ireland payroll processes or compliance requirements
  • Experience working in agile development environments
  • Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks
