Technical Business Analyst - Cloud Security
Team: Azure/Cloud Security
Location: London (mostly remote)
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly capable Technical Business Analyst with strong hands-on experience in Cloud Security, specifically within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. This role sits within the Azure team and requires a proactive self-starter who can work independently, drive change, and confidently challenge existing approaches. You will partner closely with engineering and security stakeholders-including a manager who is heavily focused on Wiz-to support cloud security initiatives across posture management, identity, threat detection, governance, and infrastructure optimisation.
The role sits within Cloud Services, in the Azure Cloud Platform team, but has a lot of cross over with the Cyber team.
Other Security products that are being utilised include Wiz & Microsoft Defender
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary BA across cloud security workstreams within the Azure team.
Gather, document, and refine detailed technical and business requirements.
Work with security engineers, cloud architects, and the Wiz-focused manager on cloud posture, risk, and remediation workflows.
Support the evaluation, implementation, and integration of Azure-native security services and tools.
Develop clear As Is and To Be workflow/process maps and identify improvement opportunities.
Contribute to the design and enhancement of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines and related automation.
Analyse security controls, gaps, and operational processes, providing actionable recommendations.
Drive process optimisation and challenge existing practices where necessary.
Translate complex cloud security concepts into structured, digestible documentation for stakeholders.
