We're supporting a tenant-to-tenant M365 migration following a recent acquisition, and need an experienced M365 Migration Engineer to lead the data migration piece.
This is a fresh project, not a recovery job, working alongside the seller's IT team to migrate data cleanly and efficiently into the new tenant.
It's a focused engagement with clear deliverables, ideal for someone who has done this before and can hit the ground running with ShareGate-led migrations.
The Role You'll take ownership of the migration activity, ensuring data is moved accurately, securely and with minimal disruption.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering tenant-to-tenant migrations using ShareGate
- Migrating data across SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Microsoft Teams
- Working closely with a US-based IT team to coordinate activity
- Ensuring data integrity, structure and permissions are maintained
- Supporting validation, testing and troubleshooting post-migration
- Contributing to related migration work where required (including cloud migration activities)
Requirements
You'll be a hands-on M365 specialist with proven experience delivering migration projects end-to-end.
Essential experience:
- Strong experience with M365 tenant-to-tenant migrations
- Hands-on expertise using ShareGate
- Solid understanding of SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams administration
- Experience delivering data migration projects from planning through to completion
Nice to have:
- Experience with on-prem to Azure migrations
- Comfortable working across time zones and distributed teams
