The Data Strategy Neuroscience Manager will contribute to the design and execution of a comprehensive, neuroscience focused data strategy program designed to accelerate research, R&D insights, and evidence generation. Combining strategic planning with hands on execution, this individual will work closely with the Neuroscience organization to understand the "what" and the "why," while spending most of the time driving the "how" - identifying data assets, coordinating the building of data products, evaluating data availability and applicability while operationalizing capabilities across the neuroscience lifecycle. This individual will act as a trusted partner to the Neuroscience Data Science Digital Health team and the Neuroscience therapeutic area, ensuring data fit and availability for the scaling of research., Strategy & Roadmap
- Translate R&D Innovative Medicine Neuroscience priorities into an actionable multi-year data roadmap.
- Prioritize data initiatives based on clinical impact, regulatory readiness, speed to insight, and ROI.
- Define success metrics and maintain data roadmap with R&D DSDH Neuroscience organization.
Execution & Delivery
- Lead end to end data-centric discussions across all neuroscience programs (e.g., RWE studies, registries, biobanks, data platform builds, analytic model deployment).
- Partner with sub-teams, driving data ingestion, curation, transformation and linkage across EHR, claims, genomic, imaging, and registry sources leading to the creation of data products.
- Orchestrate vendor and external data partner relationships; Managing scopes, service level agreements (SLA) and expectations., * Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership; facilitate decision fueled by data-driven insights.
Requirements

Masters / PhD or equivalent in relevant scientific, computer science, or business field, * 8 - 10+ years of experience in pharma/biotech R&D or commercial functions, with significant exposure to procurement and/or data strategy. 6+ years of experience with advanced degree.

Hands on experience accessing and working with real world data. Candidate should have experience with R, Python, or another coding language.

Experience should include direct responsibility for and/or collaborations with Neuroscience.

Deep understanding of neuroscience clinical care, endpoints, staging, biomarker / genomic data, and the regulatory landscape for RWE in neuroscience.

Experience designing observational studies, cohort design, causal inference methods, survival analysis and communicating limitations is a plus.

Track record negotiating and managing commercial data providers and research vendors.

Strong ability to translate complex technical work into business recommendations for cross functional and senior stakeholders.-functional and senior stakeholders.
