Do you enjoy working in an entrepreneurial environment solving complex problems and delivering innovative solutions?, We are seeking a sales leader to join our dedicated European Sovereign Cloud (ESC) Specialist Sales Team. This specialized team focuses exclusively on supporting European AGS, AWSI, and WWPS ESC sales across both partners and customers, enabling deep specialization in ESC-specific requirements, pipeline development, and EU national government procurement/policy/regulatory compliance. Reporting to the Sr Sovereign Cloud Sales Manager, this role will be responsible for pipeline generation., · Work closely with public sector and regulated industry account management teams to develop targeted strategies to expand business and drive adoption of AWS solutions that help customers meet evolving digital sovereignty requirements in the Spanish market.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, solutions architecture, capture and proposal, etc.) to validate customer requirements, perform proofs of concept, and define and drive adoption of AWS cloud services.
· Develop deep understanding of the specific digital sovereignty requirements of the German public sector and regulated industries, and work across the organization to deliver solutions.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and technical teams within German public sector organizations and regulated industries, in coordination with account management teams.
· Provide regular updates and insights to leadership on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer/partner feedback.
· Collaborate with the broader AWS Sovereign Cloud team to align on overall go-to-market strategies and share best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner
- Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations
