- Work on an international platform that is used daily by thousands of customers. Within an ambitious digital transformation you contribute to building modern front-end solutions with Vue.js, Nuxt, CMS and Algolia.
Your role as front-end engineer
As a front-end engineer you work within a Scrum team on the further development and optimization of the online platform. You develop new functionalities and improve existing customer flows with the goal of continuously increasing the user experience and efficiency of the platform.
You actively think along about technical choices and architecture, so that solutions remain scalable, maintainable and future-proof. The work you do has a direct impact on both the internal organization and the customer experience.
The platform is currently in a large-scale modernization phase. Legacy systems are being replaced step by step with modern technologies. At the same time, new functionalities are being developed with, among others, Nuxt for the front-end.
In addition, the team is working on the implementation of Amplience CMS, with which the business will be able in the future to independently configure and manage pages. Algolia is also being integrated to realize a powerful and fast search functionality so that products can be found faster and more relevantly., You work in an international Scrum team that is divided between the Netherlands and an external location. The team consists of five engineers: a Lead Engineer, a Senior Front-end Engineer and three Back-end Engineers. Together you work on a stable and future-proof platform and jointly make technical decisions.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience as a Front-end engineer with Vue.JS
- Experience with Nuxt is a plus!

Conditions:
- First a one-year contract, after that a permanent contract
- Salary up to €5,000 based on 40 hours
- Flexible working hours: 32, 36 or 40 hours per week (4x9 not possible)
- Good pension

- Travel allowance of 23 cents per kilometer
