Job Title: Lead Java Developer Rate: £470 (Inside IR35) Duration: 12 Months Location: Remote Clearance: BPSS Stages: 1 Stage

Must Have Government Experience

The responsibilities and skills expected for this role are:

Need to be able to provide effective day to day technical leadership as part of a delivery squad
Proactive leadership qualities
Someone that can strategise, lead technical teams - but also has the detailed technicals skills if required to solve detailed issues
Acting as a technical lead within the squad reporting into overarching ATW senior tech lead
Ensuring high quality technical delivery
Hands on technical leadership at a squad level handling engineering issues but also ensuring appropriate escalations
Work with a level of autonomy, taking ownership of technical decisions
Actively develop team members
Technical leadership within a software delivery team, being confident to push back if work isn't ready to be released
Knowledge of Java, NodeJS, Kubernetes, Terraform, MongoDB etc.
A good knowledge of Cloud Applications, particularly AWS and testing practices is required for this role.
