Job description
Service Architect - SC CLEARED - OUTSIDE IR35 - HIRING ASAP
Start date: ASAP Duration: 12 Months Location: 2 days per week in the Portsmouth office & 3 days per week remote working Rate: £450 - £484 per day OUTSIDE IR35
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED Must Have Skills:
- User Centred - Able to design for reality, not theory
- Systems thinking - A great Service Architect doesn't just design components they understand how everything interacts across people, process, technology, and policy
- Stakeholder translation - Act as an interpreter between Business goals * technical architecture and technical constraints * business decisions.
Responsibilities/Further Skills:
- Work collaboratively with development teams to support the shaping and design of end-to-end solutions and capabilities.
- Align the integration of services and products, considering how the product will be managed throughout its lifecycle, including network monitoring, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs).
- Work closely with development teams, leadership, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and delivery of services.
- Guide and support development teams in aligning their efforts with the overall service architecture.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for service architectures and through life management plans.
- Develop diagrams, specifications, and guidelines to facilitate understanding and implementation of service architectures.
- Ensure that service architectures meet quality standards and are scalable, reliable, and secure.
- Verify that the developed services align with the organisation's standards and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for improving service architectures and processes.
- Implement industry best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery.
- Drive organisational alignment and iterative improvement in line with industry standards.
- Engage with key stakeholders, to understand their requirements and ensure alignment with service architectures.
- Communicate effectively to convey the value and impact of service architectures on business objectives.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and solutions to support the organisation's service delivery goals.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to service architecture.
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks to ensure consistent and effective service delivery.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues to enhance the overall understanding of service architectures
