Project Manager - Web Design (WordPress & Shopify Experience Required)

This role would suit Digital Project Manager who wants to make a real difference within a small web design agency.

We are a web development and digital marketing agency based in Shrewsbury that excels in providing very high-quality development services for our direct clients and other agencies.

We provide the high-level development that other agencies cannot provide in-house which is why many of them rely us through our white-label development service.

This role is key for the management and timely delivery of our digital projects, both large and small, including support tasks.

As a company, we are pivoting into a new brand to push forward and grow so this is a special opportunity for the right person to jump on board, be part of our evolution and climb the ladder., This is not a high-flier role and we are looking for a Project Manager who wants to make an impression and can deal with general small works and client liaison on a daily basis alongside larger projects, all in a tomely manner. Agency and web development experience is essential in this role so if you don't have them, dont apply., Full lifecycle project management of website and digital projects from initial scoping, planning and specification through to management, execution and project completion.

• Work with the head of development to produce technical specifications.

• Utilise our Teamwork project management system to create timelines, tasks and milestones for all high-value full-build projects.

• Manage and distribute tasks to the correct development teams for all small works items to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.

• As the first point of contact for our clients, you will uphold the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

• Communicate directly with clients and project stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure timely delivery of projects and minor works/support tasks.

• Assist in the production of working manuals for website builds.

• Assist in any general requests and requirements in terms of content or requirements from the SEO team.

The ideal candidate will have minimum 2 years project management experience for web design and development at all levels within an agency environment using WordPress and Shopify with Drupal experience a real bonus. From website builds and mobile apps to managing minor works and keeping our fabulous clients happy. • Solid understanding of website design and development processes, mainly in WordPress and Shopify, with a heavy. focus on Shopify.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.

• Ideally, but not essential, a working knowledge of web development and coding would be great.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Proficiency in utilising project management software for tasks, milestones, Gantt charts and team allocation of resource, both in-house and contract.

• Excellent communication skills with a polite and customer-focused manner.

• Flexibility and adaptability - in our fast-paced environment, the ability to adapt to change, prioritise and still exceed expectations are essential - we know you are not superhuman though, we get that!

• A keen eye for detail - you will be conducting quality control checks on projects.
