  • Guide cloud migration strategies (on-prem to cloud/hybrid), cost optimization, governance, and compliance.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders globally, vendors, and cross-functional teams to align IT/OT objectives, define best practices, and meet AIS metrics pre-go-live.
  • Contribute to audits, documentation, and technical roadmaps; provide BAU technical governance for projects and solution design.
  • Other duties assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Information Technology or relevant technical certifications; any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background to deliver against role expectations.
  • 12+ years' experience in an IT 3rd/4th line position with a proven track record in an enterprise Cloud environment, OR 5+ years' experience working in a biomedical IT service environment.
  • Experience designing distributed systems and microservices architecture.
  • Proven experience managing production cloud environments.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and agile methodologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

What you'll bring

  • Deep expertise with AWS and/or Azure services and cloud platform design.
  • Strong scripting/coding skills (Python, Bash); containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Solid networking fundamentals (VPCs, load balancers, DNS) and secrets management.
  • Familiarity with monitoring/observability (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Ability to communicate complex architectures to technical and non-technical audiences; influence across teams and regions.
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect and/or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or DevOps Engineer are advantageous.
