Job description
The candidate will be responsible for leading the technical strategy, design, and delivery of cloud-based AI solutions across the organisation's customer base. This role combines deep technical expertise in Microsoft Azure with strategic leadership to drive cloud adoption, ensure solution quality, and manage technical delivery to meet business objectives. The role holder will act as the primary technical authority for cloud architecture decisions, overseeing the design and implementation of enterprise-grade solutions spanning data platforms, AI/ML workloads, application modernisation, and hybrid cloud infrastructure., * Lead the design and ddveloment end-to-end cloud AI solutions covering Azure infrastructure, data platforms (Azure Synapse, Databricks, Fabric), AI/ML services (Azure AI, OpenAI Service), and application services (App Service, AKS, Functions)
- Lead proof-of-concept development and technical pilots to validate solution designs before full-scale implementation
- Architect hybrid cloud environments using Azure Arc, Azure Stack, and related technologies for customers with on-premises requirements
- Act as the senior technical point of contact for key customer accounts, building trusted advisor relationships with CTO/CIO-level stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect specialising in AI, Data & Cloud solutions within enterprise environments.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Cloud Solution Architect or in an equivalent senior technical role
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Azure services across IaaS, PaaS, data, and AI workloads
- Experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale cloud solutions for large organisations
- Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert and Microsoft Azure AI Engineer or Azure Data Scientist certifications
- Proven track record of leading technical teams and managing customer relationships at a senior level
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
