Job description

As a Senior AI Architect, you will be expected to:

  • Design and build advanced AI solutions, moving seamlessly between architectural design and hands-on technical execution from PoC to production.
  • Build foundational AI capabilities and accelerators that fast-track the overall enterprise AI journey, going beyond just delivering point solutions for specific business use cases.
  • Empower and elevate the team to become industry leaders, while actively contributing thought leadership, open-source code, or innovations to the global AI community.
  • Spearhead the assessment of the latest Agentic AI platforms, multi-agent frameworks, and foundation models, driving the strategic decision on the best fit for the Deloitte landscape.
  • Define and standardize best practices, architectural blueprints, and agile methodologies for the AI engineering teams.
  • Architect end-to-end data pipelines, models, and AI applications, heavily utilizing cloud platforms and MLOps/LLMOps/AgentOps frameworks across Azure AI/ML Studio, AWS Bedrock, and GCP Vertex.
  • Oversee the deployment and optimization of complex AI Solutions, ensuring reliability, high performance, security, and scalability.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor, communicating effectively with stakeholders and business leaders using exceptional data visualization, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.
  • Champion and establish frameworks for the ethical use of AI, AI governance policies, controls, and strict adherence to data privacy regulations and enterprise security standards.
  • Mentor and guide a team of AI Engineers, fostering a culture of innovation.

Requirements

  • A degree in AI, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent advanced practical experience).
  • Proven progressive experience in machine learning and AI, including experience in a senior or architectural role delivering enterprise-scale AI-driven solutions.
  • Extensive background in Data Science with MLOps, overseeing the end-to-end model lifecycle from development to robust deployment.
  • Proven capabilities in designing and building novel AI architectures from the ground up to solve complex, unprecedented enterprise challenges.
  • Highly proficient in Python, with deep hands-on expertise in AI libraries and AI development frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI, ADK, PyTorch and others).
  • Proven track record in building reliable, high-performance multi-agent systems and integrating complex autonomous workflows into existing enterprise applications.
  • Industry-leading expertise in designing and implementing Agentic AI solutions, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and A2A Protocol.
  • Experience with Context Engineering to optimize language model performance, reasoning capabilities, and system outputs.
  • Expertise with evaluation-based Agent development, designing robust testing frameworks to continuously assess, tune, and improve autonomous agent behaviour and reliability.
  • Deep expertise with GenAI observability and monitoring frameworks (e.g., LangSmith, Langfuse) to ensure optimal system performance, trace complex reasoning chains, and maintain operational transparency.
  • Experience in architecting and deploying solutions on major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, and GCP), with a strong grasp of LLMOps/AgentOps and scalable cloud-native architectures.
  • Demonstrated track record of technical leadership, with excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and executive stakeholder management skills.
  • Deep understanding and prior experience leading the implementation of AI governance, ethical AI practices, and data privacy safeguards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
