Job description

We are working with a fast-growing, premium retail company to find a hands-on Security Engineer who can design, deploy, and integrate security solutions across cloud, infrastructure, and data platforms. This is an engineering-focused role, not a policy or compliance position.

You will play a critical role in protecting customer, payment, and operational data across an omnichannel environment, including e-commerce, mobile, marketplaces, and back-office systems., * Implement and manage security controls across cloud, network, infrastructure, and data systems

  • Secure end-to-end data pipelines and analytics platforms
  • Collaborate with security, IT, and engineering teams to embed security into architecture and deployment pipelines
  • Apply encryption, access control, and monitoring across all environments
  • Contribute to threat detection, incident response, and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience as a Security Engineer, DevSecOps, or Platform/Infrastructure Engineer
  • Strong cloud experience (GCP or Azure) and solid understanding of networking and infrastructure security
  • Experience with containerised environments and CI/CD pipelines (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Proven experience implementing security tools such as EDR, SIEM/logging, IAM, vulnerability scanning, and secrets management
  • Scripting and automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI DSS)
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Nice to have: retail or e-commerce experience, modern data stacks, SIEM platforms (Datadog, Splunk), and certifications such as CISSP or CISA
