Job description
As a Data Analytics Manager, you will be at the heart of shaping how Nespresso understands its consumers and drives business growth. You will turn complex data into meaningful insights that elevate the consumer experience and unlock new opportunities across both B2C and B2B channels. By leading the end-to-end- process of collecting, integrating, and analyzing internal and external data, you will empower marketing, commercial, and channel teams to make smarter, faster, and more strategic decisions. You will also guide and inspire a team of three talented data professionals, fostering a culture of curiosity, collaboration, continuous improvement, and analytical excellence.
A Day in the Life of a Data Analytics Manager
- Collect, integrate, and analyze internal and external data to generate insights on consumers, market trends, campaigns, and channels
- Build and maintain high-quality databases, ensuring accuracy, enrichment, and consistency of all data sources
- Deliver clear, actionable insights and recommendations to support marketing strategies, consumer journey initiatives, and business planning
- Develop forecasting and predictive models to support long-term planning and demand accuracy
- Produce periodic reporting on key KPIs and proactively identify trends to share with internal stakeholders and HQ teams
- Evaluate marketing and consumer experience activities through pre- and post-campaign analysis
- Drive cross-functional projects, manage budgets within the sub-department, and contribute to the MBP cycle with commercial and channel teams
- Lead and develop a small team of data professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and performance
Requirements
- University degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Quantitative Marketing, or a related field
- Solid experience in data mining, CRM, direct marketing, or analytics in a business environment
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with tools such as SPSS, SAS, SQL, Cognos, or similar technologies
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Familiarity with Power BI, Snowflake, SAP, or campaign management tools is an advantage
- Previous people management experience leading small teams is an advantage
- Ability to translate complex data into simple, actionable insights for non-technical audiences
