Job description
As an experienced Inhouse Consultant specializing in SAP Sales and Distribution, you will play a key role in optimizing and further developing our sales processes. With your expertise in business processes, system design, and strong communication skills, you will make a significant contribution to identifying and successfully implementing tailored solutions together with key stakeholders. You will be part of a dedicated team of professional consultants committed to high quality standards and excellence.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Collaborate with IS Service Managers, Business Process Specialists, and business stakeholders to estimate development efforts, understand requirements, and design IS solutions aligned with business goals.
- Conduct comprehensive business analyses to support decision-making related to IS solutions, projects, and change requests.
- Create business specifications and technical concepts for projects and ongoing system operations, and independently implement them through customizing.
- Support the management, maintenance, and continuous optimization of internal and cross-functional processes related to IS services.
- Act as the subject matter expert for SAP Sales and Distribution, contributing to daily operations as well as the development of new solutions.
- Lead temporary teams of internal and external colleagues, ensuring successful task completion and effective knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- Several years of experience as an SAP Consultant, preferably in-house, with expertise in customizing and designing SAP Sales and Distribution.
- Experience in a corporate environment or matrix organization.
- A university degree in Business Administration with a focus on Logistics or IT, in Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- Knowledge of ABAP, at least at a debugging level.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Strong experience working in cross-functional, virtual, and international teams.
- Proactive, collaborative, and customer-oriented mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Business-fluent German skills in spoken and written form, as well as fluent English skills in spoken and written form.
- Willingness to travel approximately 20% within Germany; during certain project phases, travel may temporarily increase.
