With features such as routing, guidance, search, interactive 2D and 3D vector maps, the HERE SDK enables developers to build powerful native location-based applications for platforms like Android, iOS, and Linux. Our product is used by millions of customers in mobile phones and moving vehicles.
To deliver the best product in the market, we are growing our engineering team and searching for an excellent DevOps engineer.
What you'll be doing
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be a key member of our growing SDK engineering team. This position requires fluency in all aspects of continuous integration and continuous delivery.
You will setup and maintain our test-, build- and delivery infrastructure for our mobile products and SDKs. You will work closely with the corporate-wide CI teams, align with our corporate tooling and approaches, and make sure the R&D teams can test and deliver the products on time and quality. You will collaborate with the Test Automation team to elaborate on the best automated test infrastructure for our mobile setup and bring these systems to life.
You should be motivated to explore solutions, deliver high-quality software, work outside your comfort zone when needed, and enjoy learning new technologies.
This position is based in Berlin and reports to an engineering manager in the HERE SDK team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar technical degree.
- Several years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Experience working in an Agile team.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure management (AWS).
- Experience with CI systems and driving the adoption of CI/CD within development teams.
- Experience with container solutions (Docker).
- Experience with automation of build, test, and release processes.
- Excellent collaborative and communication skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
Would be a plus:
- Experience with the following technologies is a plus: GitLab, AWS, Docker, Artifactory, Ansible, Terraform.
- Experience with automation for mobile platforms (iOS/Android/Flutter).
- Experience with embedded Linux or Android Automotive.
- Experience with MacOS administration is a plus.
- Experience with C++/Kotlin/Swift/Dart, and their build tools.
- Experience applying AI-assisted tools to speed up development workflows or reduce operational overhead.
