Job description

Key Responsibilities (Strings)

Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable platform solutions
Monitor, manage, and optimise AWS cloud infrastructure
Contribute to engineering strategy and architecture improvements
Document system processes, procedures, and infrastructure policies
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for secure and efficient deployments
Collaborate with development teams to support system deployment and operations

Skills Required (Strings)

Minimum:

Strong experience as a Senior Platform Engineer
Solid understanding of software engineering principles
Experience in Scripting and pipeline automation (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services
Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

Essential:

Experience working with development and infrastructure teams
Strong automation mindset to improve delivery processes
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, analytics)
Hands-on experience with CloudFormation (Scripting, debugging)
Working knowledge of Chef and troubleshooting
Python Scripting and debugging experience
Strong experience with Jenkins pipelines (multibranch, Groovy Scripting)
Good knowledge of Linux commands and web service troubleshooting
Experience with AWS services (EC2, NLB, API Gateway, Auto Scaling Groups)
