Senior Data Engineer
Remote (with optional office access in central London)
£90k-£100k + 10% bonus
AWS, Python, SQL, Airflow, ETL/ELT, Data Warehousing
We're working with a fast-growing tech business that's investing heavily in its data platform and how data is used across the company.
They're looking to bring in a Senior Data Engineer to join the team and play a key role in building out the core data platform that supports analytics, reporting, and ML.
What's really interesting about this Senior Data Engineer role is the scale and visibility. You'll be working with large, event-driven datasets and helping shape how data is processed, modelled, and used across the business, not just maintaining things, but genuinely improving how it all works.
This Senior Data Engineer role is hands-on, with plenty of scope to influence architecture, tooling, and best practices as the platform continues to evolve. There's a lot of ownership here and the chance to make a real impact.
It's a great opportunity for a Senior Data Engineer who enjoys building things properly, wants to stay close to the tech, and be part of a team that's still growing and improving.
Key experience:
- Experience working as a Senior Data Engineer in a production environment
- Strong Python and SQL
- Building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines
- Experience with Airflow or similar tools
- AWS and data warehousing experience (Redshift, Snowflake, etc.)
- Experience working with large or event-driven datasets
- Comfortable working with product, analytics, and engineering teams
