System Architect

We would like to internationalize this commitment to originality and innovation and are looking for an experienced System Architect to act as the key technical interface between our European customers and our China-based engineering teams.

In this role, you will bridge customer requirements, system architecture, and project delivery, ensuring clear communication, feasible technical solutions, and smooth project execution throughout the full lifecycle., Customer Engagement & Solution Definition (Pre-Sales / RFQ Phase)

• Act as the primary technical contact for customers during RFQ and early project phases
• Analyze and clarify customer requirements, especially for automotive infotainment systems
• Define high-level technical solutions and system architecture concepts
• Prepare technical proposals, documentation, and presentations
• Lead technical discussions, workshops, and Q&A sessions with customers

Project Execution & Customer Communication

• Serve as the main technical interface during project execution
• Maintain regular communication with customers on progress, risks, and issues
• Support requirement changes, feature clarifications, and scope alignment
• Drive issue resolution together with internal teams and customer stakeholders

Coordination with China Engineering Teams

• Work closely with China-based development teams to track project progress
• Ensure customer requirements are correctly understood and implemented
• Identify technical risks, bottlenecks, and critical issues early
• Boost location problem-solving and decision making
• Support alignment on architecture, design decisions, and delivery milestones

Technical Background

• Strong experience in system architecture, preferably in automotive or embedded systems
• Solid understanding of Android-based systems, ideally Automotive (AAOS)
• Familiar with system integration, middleware, and cross-domain architectures
• Experience with SoC platforms (e.g., Qualcomm) and multi-OS systems (Android/QNX) is a plus
• Knowledge of vehicle communication (e.g., CAN, Ethernet) is beneficial

Professional Skills

• Proven ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions
• Strong experience in technical communication with international customers
• Ability to work across distributed teams (Europe * China)
• Excellent problem-solving and system-level thinking
• Comfortable handling ambiguity and driving topics independently

Language & Communication

• Fluent in English, basic in German
• Strong presentation and documentation skills

Experience

• 5 years of experience in software development / architecture roles
• Experience in automotive OEM or Tier-1 projects is a strong plus
• Background in customer-facing or technical consulting roles is highly valued
