Job description
Infosys BPM is seeking motivated and skilled IT Support Specialists to join our on-site team. In this hands-on role, you will provide high-quality technical support, ensure smooth IT operations, and act as an essential interface between users and advanced support teams., * Install, configure, and maintain hardware: desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals
- Diagnose and resolve software issues across Microsoft Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, and other business-critical applications
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN, WLAN, VPN) and support basic configuration of network devices
- Perform preventive maintenance on IT equipment
- Support deployment and decommissioning of IT assets
- Provide timely, clear, and effective technical assistance to end users
- Document all support activities, solutions, and asset movements in the ticketing system
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level teams (networking, systems, server)
- Maintain a professional, customer-focused attitude in all interactions
- Follow IT policies, security standards, and corporate compliance guidelines
- Travel occasionally to nearby locations to perform support tasks approx. 3-4 times per month within 20-30 km
- Provide secondary VIP support based on existing SOPs and training
Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience in IT support or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware and software components
- Basic understanding of network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WLAN)
- Experience with Microsoft 365 tools: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-able to explain technical topics clearly to non-technical users
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks
- Ability to lift and move IT equipment (e.g., PCs, monitors)
- Local language and fluent English
- Valid driver's license (mandatory)
