Software Developer

We're working with a growing business looking to bring in a Software Developer to support the ongoing development of a bespoke platform that powers key areas of the organisation., * Developing and enhancing APIs that support internal systems and customer-facing platforms

• Working within a PHP (Laravel) backend and contributing to a React Native frontend
• Supporting integrations across multiple systems and services
• Contributing to a cloud-based AWS environment, including serverless components
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams
• Debugging and resolving issues across the platform

Tech Stack

• Backend: PHP, Laravel
• Frontend: React Native, JavaScript, jQuery
• Database: MySQL
• Local Development: MAMP
• Cloud: AWS (Lambda, API Gateway)
• Architecture: API-led, highly integrated systems

This is a great opportunity for someone with a couple of years' experience who wants to work on end-to-end systems and continue developing across backend, frontend, and cloud technologies., * Commercial experience as a Software Developer (ideally 2+ years)

• Strong experience with PHP and Laravel
• Experience with JavaScript, including jQuery
• Experience working with MySQL or similar relational databases
• Familiarity with local development environments such as MAMP
• Experience building or consuming APIs
• An interest in or exposure to AWS / cloud technologies
• A proactive mindset and willingness to learn

Nice to Have

• Experience with React Native
• Exposure to AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, etc.)
• Experience working on integrated or business-critical platforms

• £40,000 - £50,000 salary
