Junior Database Administrator

You will lean all aspects of database administration learning from our database administrator, Data team and our integration team to support data administration and maintenance of our cloud data platforms across the organisation.

Support our Database admin and infrastructure teams to ensure that databases are correctly provisioned maintained and deployed to appropriate standards.

Improve the corporate databases and data provision technologies to ensure the availability, performance, security and integrity of the data within the best practice principles suggested by ITIL and industry principles.

Do you have experience in SQL?, * Interest in both IT and business while integrating analytics and data science output into business processes and workflows.

• Problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and logical.
• Interest in popular database programming languages including SQL, PL/SQL, possibly extending to NoSQL/Hadoop oriented, and non relational databases.
• Interest in backup and recovery, high availability and disaster recovery solutions
• Knowledge of designing and implementing database structures and the process of normalisation
