What you can expect

• Leadership, coaching, and building the young Data Intelligence team (3-5 people), as well as fostering a data-driven corporate culture.
• Strategic and architectural design: Revising and implementing the Data Intelligence strategy, as well as establishing data governance and architecture.
• Advanced Analytics & Machine Learning: Leading data-driven projects and developing/implementing ML models (e.g., for occupancy forecasts).
• Reporting and Google Tech Stack: Data analysis, interpretation, and creation of reports/visualizations in Looker (Google Stack) to promote conversational reporting.
• Stakeholder Management and AI Integration: Close collaboration with stakeholders to analyze needs and proactive cooperation with the AI department to maximize data-driven AI usage.
• Market and Trend Analysis: Staying up to date on industry trends and best practices., Please note that for this position, we are currently only considering and reviewing direct applications with an existing, valid residence and work permit for Switzerland. • Solid education and experience: A degree in a relevant field (computer science/business administration) and approximately 5 years of relevant professional experience in data intelligence/architecture.
• Leadership and business skills: Proven experience in managing data teams, a strong business focus, experience with change management projects, and strong teamwork skills.
• Technical and architectural expertise: Expertise in building data architecture/governance structures, solid experience with the Google Tech Stack (Looker/GCP) and in ML/big data technologies.
• Vision and strong communication skills: A visionary, AI-first mindset with the motivation to actively challenge the status quo, as well as strong communication skills in German and English.
