Job description
Driven by the passion to improve quality of people's lives, WSA continues to grow as a market leader in the hearing aid industry. With our commitment to increase penetration in an underserved hearing care market, we want to accelerate our business transformation in order to reach more people, more effectively.
We are looking for a Configuration Systems Architect to design and govern scalable configuration architectures, models, and lifecycle processes that enable accurate product variant management, seamless system integration, and future-ready configurability across the platform.
What you will do
- Define, design, and continuously refine the core configuration architecture supporting customer, product, and variant data structures-forming the foundation of the configurability system, with an AI-first mindset where applicable
- Develop and maintain robust configuration models, rules, and dependency logic to accurately represent product variants, system behaviours, and cross-system relationships
- Establish and govern the configuration lifecycle, including versioning, change control, auditing to ensure integrity and traceability
- Collaborate cross-functionally with architects, developers, product owners, and domain experts to translate business and technical requirements into scalable configuration solutions
- Design and implement automated validation, monitoring, and quality controls to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of configuration data and system behaviour
- Ensure seamless integration with upstream and downstream systems including validation, release processes, and coordination with development teams
- Assess, understand, and support existing ("as-is") configuration models and processes, and actively guide the transition toward the defined target configuration architecture and operating model
- Act as a subject-matter expert for configuration frameworks, driving continuous improvement, automation, scalability, and long-term stability of the platform.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Systems engineering?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 5-8 years of experience in configuration management, data management, systems engineering, or product variant modelling within software-driven environments
- Strong experience with configuration management tools, version control systems and data-driven configuration platforms
- Understanding of variant logic, configuration structures, dependency modelling, and system design
- Solid understanding of enterprise system integrations, especially where product, customer, or variant data flows across multiple applications.
Personal competencies
- Excellent analytical and system-thinking skills-able to understand complex architectures and break them down
- Experience collaborating closely with development, architecture, testing, and product teams
- Effective communication skills with the ability to explain complex structures to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive, structured, and capable of owning a foundational technical domain in a large-scale, high-impact program.
