Senior Azure .NET Developer

As a Senior Developer, you will play a pivotal role in building and optimizing our robust platform. With your expertise in cloud services-preferably on Azure-you ensure the development and maintenance of scalable, secure, and future-proof solutions. You contribute by leveraging your experience with key Azure components such as IoT Hub, Event Hub, Service Bus, Blob Storage, Azure Data Explorer, MS SQL, Azure AppService, and Azure Functions.

You become part of a highly skilled platform team, focusing on the backend infrastructure rather than customer-facing applications. In this role, you collaborate closely with other developers, Product Owners, QA Engineers, and Tech Leads to implement technical solutions, align on dependencies, and translate functional needs into technical priorities. Your input is key to ensuring the quality and performance of our platform.

Moreover, you share your knowledge and skills with the team, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and development. By staying up to date with the latest advancements in cloud technology, you advocate for best practices and contribute to a seamless integration of innovative solutions into our platform.

• At least a bachelor's level work and thinking capacity.;
• A minimum of 5- 7 years experience as a .NET (Core) Developer;
• Working history in Cloud environments, preferably with Azure Cloud Computing Services;
• Having experience working with data collecting, storing, analyzing, and creating actionable insights through reports and dashboards is a big plus;
• Having experience with IoT devices, collecting data from devices, writing software for their operation, and integrating them into larger systems is a big plus;
• Experience in building RESTful APIs;
• Currently living in the Netherlands.

• A gross salary based on your experience in the range of € 4.500,- and € 6500,- based on 40 hours a week;

We have multiple platform teams that build the backend components that are used by our App teams to develop. This platform is used to fulfill our purpose to become a data-driven organization. These App teams are divided into "Horticulture" and "Building Automation" where we enable our customers to automate their greenhouses and optimize their climate control in utility buildings. Between Rotterdam and The Hague, you find the greenhouse capital of the world: "Het Westland", where our campus is located in The Lier. We emerged from our knowledge in climate control in glasshouses, but we expanded our knowledge to Building Automation. In these 100 square kilometers, Priva was founded in the fifties and is still a family business.
