Job description
We are looking for a remote full-stack developer to be our first technical hire. You'll own the full stack and work directly with the founder on every major technical decision. You will be the technical expert so it is crucial you can explain technical details to a non-technical audience. Think of short feedback loops, real autonomy with no committees. This is a greenfield build. You won't be maintaining anyone else's code so everything you create will also have to be thoroughly documented for future engineers as we expand the department., * Development and full ownership of our core platform.
- Comfortable with multi-organisational architecture that you will design and build.
- Build intelligent document generation workflows.
- Implement a task and action system for an internal operations team.
- Develop automated data collection from multiple third-party services
- Write clean, documented, testable code throughout.
- Contribute meaningfully to product and architectural decisions.
- Be prepared to build and lead our tech department as we grow.
Requirements
- 3+ years commercial experience with a significant portion as a full-stack engineer.
- Strong experience with Node.js andReact.js - component architecture, state management, hooks, REST API development, authentication, middleware.
- PostgreSQL - schema design, query optimisation, migrations.
- Comfortable with multi-tenant SaaS architecture and making design decisions independently.
- Third-party API and webhook integration experience.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- B2B SaaS, internal tooling, or enterprise software background.
- PDF generation - Puppeteer, React-PDF or similar.
- TypeScript.
- Cloud engineering- AWS, Azure or similar.
- Redis or other caching experience for optimisation., * Full Stack : 3 years (preferred)
