Job description
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Project Administrator to join our growing data and fibre cabling division. You will play a key role in supporting our Engineers ensuring the smooth delivery of installations from start to finish. This is a fast-paced role where attention to detail and excellent communication are essential. You'll be responsible for coordinating stock and documentation, carrying out take-offs from drawings, managing engineers' diaries, and ensuring the Project manager is fully supported., * Raising and managing purchase orders, including handling NHS POs, and ensuring stock is tracked and allocated to the correct projects
- Managing all incoming and outgoing stock
- Coordinating engineer documentation - RAMS, permits, job packs, as-builts, test results, and completion photos
- Scheduling engineers' diaries and allocating resources across projects
- Working closely with the Contracts Manager and Finance team to meet strict invoicing deadlines and ensure all financial documentation is accurate and submitted on time
- Scheduling deliveries, site access, and assisting with project planning
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Projects Team Managers
- Occasionally Carrying out take-offs from drawings and producing materials lists.
Requirements
- Microsoft office including Excel - knowledge of analysing data and Excel functions
- Previous use of CRM software
- Experience in a similar role within the data cabling, fibre, IT or telecoms industry (preferred)
- Stock management
