Job description

We're looking for a Software Developer with strong experience in building VS Code extensions, integrating AI agents using tools like Langchain and LangGraph, and a passion for enhancing the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) through cutting-edge technologies.

You'll be part of a high-impact team, building tools that live where developers work - from smart coding environments to agent-driven pipelines - and help shape the future of intelligent development.

What You'll Be Doing

Designing, developing, and publishing VS Code extensions.
Building and orchestrating Python-based AI agents with LangChain & LangGraph.
Creating intelligent prompts and workflows that optimize developer productivity.
Using tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, and similar for vibe-driven coding experiences.
Proposing and developing novel use cases for AI in the SDLC.
Delivering production-ready artifacts.
Operating in private (OpenShift) and public cloud environments (AWS).
Working collaboratively in an Agile team, proposing architectural and process improvements.

Requirements

Proven experience building VS Code extensions (TypeScript/Node.js).
Strong Python skills; hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar agentic frameworks.
Knowledge of MCP servers and their integration within VS Code and AI toolchains.
Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures: embeddings, similarity search, and LLM models.
Experience using AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Windsurf.
Comfortable deploying and maintaining solutions in both OpenShift (private cloud) and AWS (public cloud).
Skilled in crafting and refining prompts to maximize AI agent performance.
Solid grasp of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), with an eye for AI-enhanced improvements across stages.
Proactive, experimental mindset - unafraid to test, fail fast, and iterate.
Strong team collaborator who thrives on feedback and continuous improvement.
