Job description

Our AI-powered platform delivers credit risk analysis for institutional clients, including a global investment bank. Rather than relying on off-the-shelf tools, our platform encodes each client's specific credit methodology into tailored workflows, producing credit narratives that satisfy rigorous model risk governance, deployed directly into client-hosted cloud environments. We're a small, focused team. There are no layers between you and the work that matters. You'll ship to production from week one, work directly with senior leadership, and have a genuine impact on the product and the company's trajectory. As an early team member, there is potential to share in the long-term success of the company., Reporting to the CTO, you'll own the infrastructure and deployment lifecycle across our multi-environment platform. We deploy into client-hosted cloud environments with strict governance requirements - you'll be the person making sure those deployments are reliable, repeatable, and scalable. You'll also contribute to platform development when needed, but your primary focus is keeping our infrastructure solid as we grow. Infrastructure & Container Orchestration - Design, build, and maintain container orchestration (Docker / Kubernetes / ECS) across multiple client deployments. Own the infrastructure that keeps our platform running reliably in production. CI/CD & Deployment Pipelines - Manage and improve deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions and Docker. Ensure we can release confidently and frequently across all environments. Multi-Environment Operations - Operate hands-on across multiple cloud-hosted client environments (Azure, AWS, GCP): diagnosing issues, implementing fixes, and maintaining stability. Cloud Architecture - Support cloud-native and on-premise delivery. Make infrastructure decisions that scale across current and future client deployments. Platform Development - Contribute to our core application (.NET backend API with Vue.js and Blazor frontends) when needed, fixing bugs, building features, and shipping end-to-end. Testing & Reliability - Build and maintain regression test suites. Strengthen testing and monitoring practices to support reliable, frequent releases.

Tech Stack Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions (CI/CD), Azure / AWS Backend: C# / .NET 6-10, Entity Framework Core, REST APIs AI Tooling: Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, integrated into our daily workflow Testing: xUnit Development: VS Code, Visual Studio 2022+, Git / GitHub

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience, including container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environment management
  • Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Docker Compose, Kubernetes, ECS, or similar) in production environments
  • Strong Docker, CI/CD (GitHub Actions or similar), and deployment pipeline experience across at least one major cloud provider
  • Comfortable working directly in live production environments across multiple client deployments
  • Strong English communication - you'll collaborate with a distributed team and occasionally interact with institutional clients
  • Self-directed and reliable - able to manage your own workload across multiple client environments

Nice to Have

  • Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar)
  • Experience managing multi-tenant or multi-environment production deployments
  • C# / .NET proficiency, primarily backend, with the ability to work across the full stack when needed
  • Active user of AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar) as part of your daily workflow
  • Background in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments (financial services, banking)
  • Experience building and maintaining regression test suites with a quality-first mindset
  • Previous experience in early-stage or small-team environments, * DevOps: 3 years (preferred)

Benefits & conditions

  • £75,000-£85,000 base salary
  • Performance-based bonuses
  • Opportunity to participate in the company's upside
  • Hybrid working from Fora Kings Cross with remote flexibility
  • Flat structure with direct access to leadership
  • Work on AI-native tooling at the intersection of finance and technology

Pay: £75,000.00-£85,000.00 per year
