Network Engineer - Secure Cloud Services

In this role, you will design, implement and support secure network infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments, ensuring high levels of performance, resilience and security.

You will take ownership of network services across routing, switching and security, supporting both project delivery and operational activities within complex, secure environments.

Working closely with engineering teams and partners, you will help deliver reliable and scalable connectivity solutions, applying innovative approaches while being supported by experienced colleagues and a collaborative culture that encourages continuous improvement.

Design & Deliver secure network infrastructure across hybrid environments

Configure & Maintain routing, switching and network security components

Integrate & Support connectivity with cloud platforms

Monitor & Optimise network performance, availability and resilience

Troubleshoot & Resolve network incidents and technical issues

Collaborate & Deliver with internal teams and external partners

Report & Communicate network performance, risks and operational updates

You should have strong experience in network engineering within enterprise or secure environments, with a solid understanding of routing, switching and security principles. Experience supporting cloud-integrated networks and resolving complex issues is essential.

You should have proven experience in network engineering

Strong proficiency in routing and switching technologies

Solid understanding of network security principles

Experience with cloud networking

Experience in network monitoring and performance management

Proven ability in troubleshooting and incident resolution

Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (desirable)

Experience with firewalls, security appliances or network automation (advantageous)

Understanding of secure environments and compliance requirements (advantageous)

Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This position will be based on site near Gloucester or in Central London 5 days a week.
