At CGI, you will shape the design of secure, mission-critical systems that deliver real impact across the Space, Defence and Intelligence sector. As an IT Solution Architect, you will define and assure end-to-end cloud and infrastructure solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure and aligned to strategic outcomes. Working with clients, partners and engineering teams, you will take ownership of architectural decisions, bring innovative thinking to complex challenges, and grow your expertise within a collaborative and supportive environment.
The Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit in CGI is a true IT Systems Integrator. We work, build, and operate bespoke, technically complex, mission-critical systems which help our clients keep us all safe and secure. We bring innovation to our clients using proven and emerging technologies, agile delivery processes and our deep expertise across the breadth of space, defence, intelligence, aerospace and maritime, all underpinned by our end-to-end cyber capability. We work collaboratively with global technology companies, cutting edge SMEs and academia to deliver the optimal solution for each client., In this role, you will define and own end-to-end solution architecture across cloud and on-premise environments, ensuring designs meet client requirements, security standards and long-term strategic goals. You will take ownership of translating business and technical requirements into secure, scalable and supportable architectures within complex, secure environments.
You will provide architectural governance and assurance across delivery, working closely with engineering teams and partners to guide implementation and ensure alignment to standards. Through proactive risk management and innovative thinking, you will help shape robust solutions while being supported by a collaborative and expert-led community.

Requirements
You should have strong experience in solution architecture within complex enterprise or secure environments, with the ability to design, govern and assure cloud and infrastructure solutions. A solid understanding of security, compliance and stakeholder engagement is essential.

Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This position will be based on site near Gloucester or in Central London 5 days a week.
