Software Engineer

Are you a software engineer with experience building mobile and cloud-connected applications? Would you like to work on technology that directly supports veterinary professionals and animal health worldwide?, As part of the R&D Software Engineering team, you will work across the full development lifecycle, contributing to the design, development and maintenance of mobile, web and cloud-based applications., * Design and develop mobile, web and cloud-connected applications

• Contribute to software architecture and system design
• Develop mobile applications (iOS, Android) and web services
• Build and maintain APIs and cloud-based microservices
• Support device connectivity via WiFi, Bluetooth, USB and IoT protocols
• Implement CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Produce technical documentation and contribute to testing and validation
• Collaborate with R&D teams and support production and service teams when required

You will likely have:

• A degree in software engineering, computer science or a related field
• Around 5+ years' experience in web or mobile software development
• Experience with mobile frameworks such as Flutter or similar technologies
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS and backend technologies such as NodeJS
• Experience with cloud platforms and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments

Experience with medical devices, imaging systems or regulated environments would be advantageous but is not essential.
