Requirements

  • Hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer, working with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Python, Bash, and PowerShell
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible, as well as GitOps practices
  • Ability to develop CI/CD pipelines and automate processes to improve reliability and reduce manual work
  • Strong understanding of cloud and hybrid infrastructure, with a focus on enhancing observability, logging, and operational tooling
  • Experience in incident response, root cause investigations, and implementing fixes to improve stability and prevent recurrence, * Proven track record in DevOps or infrastructure engineering, with a passion for cloud and automation
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Experience in Agile/Kanban environments, with the ability to prioritise technical work and support continuous improvement

My Peterborough-based client, on a legacy to cloud Digital transformation, is looking for a new Senior DevOps Engineer. As the Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in modernising and running the core infrastructure that powers this critical operation. In this permanent, hybrid role with a salary range of £65,000 - £80,000, you'll have the opportunity to design, operate, and improve their on-premises, cloud, and hybrid platforms, driving them towards a secure, automated, and cloud-first future.
