Working Student AI-Powered Test Automation

Choose the best place for your work - Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours. Your tasks and responsibilities:

• You will support the development of AI-powered software to improve test automation for X-ray systems
• You will help us research the state of the art in AI and test automation for X-ray systems
• Together with us, you will take ownership of specific supporting work packages by developing and implementing AI algorithms with us to improve the efficiency and accuracy of X-ray system testing
• You will support the development of automation scripts, test routines, and data analysis tools tailored to the testing of X-ray products
• You will help us integrate machine learning models into existing test systems to optimize performance and reduce testing time
• You will support us by documenting your work thoroughly and contributing to the creation of user manuals and technical documentation

• You are studying in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
• You are at least for one year available
• You have strong experience with Python programming (functional and object-oriented)
• You have a solid understanding of software development principles and best practices
• You have experience in, or a strong interest in, AI and machine learning, ideally in the context of test process optimization
• You have basic knowledge of automated testing concepts and tools, which is a plus

• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, German is a plus
• You are curious, proactive, and eager to learn new skills and technologies
• You work independently and follow a structured approach to problem-solving
• You possess strong analytical skills and can break down complex tasks into manageable steps
